This place isn't a good reliable place if you are taking drug hair tests I have been clean year and 5 months im sorry but I know if im using drugs and I sure wouldn't pay for a drug test of my own I usually go to arcpoint due to past issues with quest this is serious I am dealing with CPS my child's life is on the line someone who works at quest lab absolutely doesn't know what they r doing and refuses to believe anyone but rather believe false positives or errors don't even exist......very very scary guys

Wouldn’t let me wait on pregnant wife!

They wouldn’t let me wait in the lobby while my pregnant wife was getting her blood work done , I can understand not being able to go in the back but not even allowing me to sit in the lobby??? The lady had a horrible attitude about it as well and handled it very unprofessional.

Appointments on Website for times when office closed....

I generally have an okay experience at Quest for bloodwork, but this time, all the appointments were filled. I made a midday appointment for today and again next Sat because that was all there was available. Drove there and found the office closed. Called and found they only have hours M-F. Frustrating and waste of time to say nothing of being at risk without bloodwork. grrrrr

Awful experience

Awful experience; I’ll never go to the Novato lab again; have never experienced more pain getting a simple blood test and it took days to get my results. Additionally, the office is filthy and there’s no one at the helm. I felt like a homeless, penny less victim.

MyQuest worst healthcare site

MyQuest is the most user unfriendly site there is, when it comes to healthcare.
There is no customer support other than through a message submission (not a chat) and reps at Quest do not support the site.
Users have to wait endlessly to get a response from support, to which you cannot respond and ask follow up questions if it still doesn't work.
After 3 months of trying, I am still unable to view my results, pay bills or do anything with this site.
What a waste of money, you should take the site down and reassign this wastful spending to your employees who are best suited to support your customers.
Very poor and frustrating experience.

Awful service!

Awful, just awful. I made an appointment which they confirmed. I'm disable and live an hour drive from the location. I got on time for my appointment but the place was closed. NO NOTICE, NOTING.
Called the main office of Quest Diagnostics, they were insisting that the location on 571 Main St. Cobleskill, NY is open and requested that I go to the door while on the phone. I did as requested, place was dark and closed. The lady on the phone was able to learn somehow that they decide to close for Friday November 13th... but kept making appointments and confirming them without any regard for the people actually coming to the appointments made only to learn that they drove for nothing and they can just hang out outside but the location itself is closed! How lovely is that?!

Make Sure Your Insurance Qualifies

I have hematuria, and I needed a routine but significant (for me) test, and with so many labs shutdown in SF due to tyrannical and unjust covid regulations, I felt lucky to sign online with Quest Diagnostics on Post Street.
Getting the right results from the lab meant I had proof I was cleared for yet another medical test and could meet that appointment. Without those results, I could not make any medical progress.
Nothing on the website gave me any warning, but when the day came and I traveled to the lab and stood before the receptionist, she asked me if I had scheduled an appointment and I told her, of course, yes. Then she said, "We do not accept your insurance."
It was an HMO with Anthem. Why was my insurance not good?
The receptionist answered, "Your physician group is with Brown & Toland, and we do not accept Brown & Toland patients."
What? Discrimination not based on insurance but by what physicians' group you belong to? Guilt by association?
I remembered I had tried to call Quest Diagnostics in advance by telephone, but no human being was available to take my call. The menu on the telephone system was completely automated, robotic, and inflexible. The voicemail system allowed the caller no opportunity to ask a question. i remembered even the website, although it had a FAQ, gave me no information that helped me.
I could have gone to one of the few labs open in the city owned by Labcorp instead and not wasted any time; Labcorp's website does ask you for your insurance upfront. Because it denied me service, Quest Diagnostics caused me to have to reset all of my future appointments with the urologist and other labs for the following month, delaying my attempt at recovery, just because it lacked the human decency to be upfront about its arbitrary and discriminatory policies, making me make an unnecessary trip and tripping a further delay in my medical recovery.
I asked the receptionist if I might pay for the lab test out of my pocket, but all the receptionist did in response was say, behind her covidiotic face visor and window screen, "Here is your insurance card. I'm sorry." Her English was so bad that I didn't try to re-ask my question.
What an unimaginably irresponsible company - to make a potential client come all that way downtown for an important lab test and then to arbitrarily deny service based on a secret set of rules for denial of service that it has refused to make public. This company has no integrity and certainly no interest in caring about clients.
* * *
Through an intermediary, I finally got a chance to get blood and urine prepared for tests at Quest Diagnostics on Sutter Street in San Francisco just last week. The clientele behind the counter were less than gracious. No instructions as to how find the bathroom to give a urine sample, no instructions as to how to sign in (computerized system), and the phlebotomist couldn't identify a viable vein on either of my arms so she took the blood from my hand, and the blood-draw left quite a bruise that lasted for days. Not that she didn't inform me about this bruising in advance; she did. But why can't Quest find a phlebotomist who can find a vein that doesn't leave bruising?

I went to quest diagnostics in Overland…

I went to quest diagnostics in Overland Park Ks today for blood work. I gave the girl my order for labs and she looked me up on the computer. She immediately starts telling me I have a bill of $241.84 for bloodwork there. I told her I had never had blood work at that lab before. She kept saying I did and I owed this money! Finally she said my doctor ordered the test in September. I told her I had not received an explanation of benefits for that, or a bill. I told her that it was probably somewhere between them and my insurance company. She printed out the bill and practically threw it at me! I asked her if she could just draw my blood and she said she wouldn't draw my blood because I was aggressive! I was going to leave and then the other woman there said she would draw my blood. She was rude also, but drew my blood. When she was done she said she would have done the same! I don't know if they've ever heard of customer service! When I got home I called my insurance company and it turns out that I don't owe them anything! That amount was supposed to be written off by Quest which they knew! But they were trying to get me to pay it anyway!!!

It’s hard to understand why in a…

It’s hard to understand why in a society such as one that we live in nothing is being done to fix this company. Certainly, quest diagnostics needs new management which understands customer service.
All people at top need to be removed and new management needs to take over. They have loads of bad reviews.
I always have problem at quest. Today, I went in with an appointment at Tustin 801 building location (fasting and diabetic) only to realize that my appointment was set up at a different location without informing me. There are people coughing, no one is doing anything about it. They tell me one hour wait For non-appointments, only to find out after 90 minutes that they have no idea if I can receive any services at all....

Rude as rude can be

Rude as rude can be. Clumsy and messy. My Doctor, my Specialist office who works very well, faxed and sent out the referal 4 times. They sent the referal on the very same day I set the appointment for my hushand, who is disabled. We got there 10 minutes prior the blood test, with our code and masks. Standing at the register in a freezing room. Not onlythis rude boorish nurse talked to us in spanish after our good morning taking for granted. Not only I was kicked out from the register the moment i gave her our last name and time of the appointment. she did not let me finish and told me to get out. !! I just wanted to make sure my husband was in and I knew already I had to go downstairs. I replied and left the room by putting in her place. (41st street location). The dragging feet and cheap manners of this boorish nurse are beyond control. Depiscable service and awful unjustied way to treat patients/people. They denied with the Doctor's office assistant on the phone that they received the referal multiple times which is in Quest system. No blood test occured. Unreal waste of time.
Never again.
